Grandma's mother - Maria Archangela Perta-Cristoforo
When her husband died, she lost the flour mill. Maria Archangela bought and sold jewelery to make ends meet. She also had extremely bad allergies and could not visit her son, Michael, because he was working on a farm and the folliage was impossible for her to handle. This is the only picture of her and the date is unknown-maybe early 1900's or late 1890's. She is our great-grandmother on grandma's side of the family.
